Are you a music enthusiast or a podcaster looking to expand your reach? Have you ever thought about having your own internet radio station that can be accessed through Amazon Alexa? Well, now you can with the free Alexa RSK (Radio Skills Kit).
The Alexa RSK allows you to create a custom internet radio station that can be accessed by anyone who has an Alexa-enabled device. This means that your station can potentially reach millions of listeners across the world.
Once you’re happy with your skill, you can submit it for certification by Amazon. This process typically takes a few days, but once your skill is certified, it will be available for anyone to use.
One of the great things about the Alexa RSK is that it’s completely free to use. There are no upfront costs or ongoing fees, which makes it an ideal option for those who are just starting out with internet radio. They mention in the video above that if you are in the UK it may take a few weeks to get your RSK through the process.
Overall, the Alexa RSK is a powerful tool that can help you get your own internet radio station up and running quickly and easily. With the ability to potentially reach millions of listeners across the world, it’s definitely worth considering if you’re looking to expand your reach and connect with a wider audience.
